It is almost done

May 2018
As part of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche visit to Berlin, on Monday, the 21st of May, he circumambulated the Stupa for the first time and on Thursday the 24th of May a blessing ritual took place.

In the beginning of the Tibetan Month of Saka Dawa (16th of May) the 13 rings, the umbrella and the jewel were placed. In the following days the Stupa pedestal will get plastered. The path around will be stoned and after the removal of the scaffold, the Stupa garden will be arranged.

At the end of 2016 with your support we were able to follow the repeated request of H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa to start building the stupa. The most important and difficult task was the filling of the three inner chambers, their inauguration and sealing, which is now completed.

In this present phase the inner building has to be set into layers of walls. The most best expert opinions are needed to choose the correct method of construction and the right building materials to withstand the effects of the changing climate for centuries. The project is well advised and built by experienced experts, a craftsman and artist from the nongovernment organisation B.L.O here in Berlin. The KadamStupa will be unique. For each building phase especially made ce components have to be manufactured, […]

Thank you for supporting the Stupa-Project!

“Thuk-je-che”

In Tibetan language we rejoice about the good heart of the person who gave us a gift – “thuk-je-che” can be translated as “you have a big heart”. It is composed of a term for greatness (che), a honorific term for addressing a person (je), and a honorific term for (exalted) mind or heart (thuk), which together denotes a good heart, karuṇā, compassion, benevolence, kindness, responsiveness merciful with grace.

Many donations from all over the world make it possible to construct a`Stupa for World Peace` here in Berlin. So far we`ve achieved the filling and consecration of the `inner core` of the stupa. Much more work is still needed to build the bell-shaped `outer wall`, put up the 13 rings, the rectangular harmika and the copper-jewel. We hope to raise enough money to finish the project in 2017.

Conquer the angry man by love.
Conquer the ill-natured man by goodness.
Conquer […]

The copper top of the stupa has arrived

The Stupa project is guided by Ven. Lama Phuntshok Rinpoche and Khenpo Namgyal of Karma Lekshe Institute in Kathmandu. It is based on historical plans of the famous old stupa on top of the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, India. This is the place where Siddharta Gautama realised complete Buddhahood and which is the main pilgrimage place for Buddhists worldwide.

We would like to invite you to participate in the sacred project and will inform you about it`s progress.

With your help it will be possible to finish a universal symbol of loving kindness, which is going last for centuries and will be circumambulated by countless of people.

All donations for the tip of the Stupa made of copper created by the finest Nepalese handcraft (costs: 7.000 €)  are of great benefit and create enormous positive virtues […]
